LBF is a non-profit organization, incorporated in 1974 and established "to create, build and strengthen a spirit of fellowship among believers; to seek the lost for Christ and His Kingdom; to hear, to study, to distribute the Word of God; and to fellowship together in individual and common prayer".
The Fellowship currently administers and conducts two summer Bible camps per year, one
at Wood Lake Bible Camp in Wisconsin, and the other at Lake Ellen Bible Camp in Michigan. In addition, LBF helps support missionary outreach through a monthly stipend program, and assists with its member churches in the support and accomplishment of special projects designed to aid and present the message of Christ to the world. The LBF Board is composed of representatives from its affiliated churches and is responsible
for the development and implementation of our yearly camp program, including the development of camp schedules and fees, curriculums, activities, counselor training, teacher recruitment, etc... The camp builds its program around activities of primary interest to campers, mingling Bible teaching, worship, adventure, and discovery.Through its facilities, programs, and personnel, LBF seeks to create an environment in
which the Holy Spirit will draw campers to develop, renew, strengthen, and build upon a personal faith in Jesus Christ. Towards this end the Board gives thanks to our God and Savior for the continued physical efforts, spiritual uplift, and financial support of the many Christian brothers and sisters who have made this organization a success over the years. In addition we encourage and welcome all individuals, both young and old, to share with us their unique spiritual gifts and talents as we worship God and fellowship together in the coming years. What is LBF? It’s Your Friends. It’s Your Family. It’s You!
